Phone will restart after Step (xi) and will take a little long than normal to boot up. But it should not restart multiple times. If phone is restarting again and again, then repeat the process from step (iv).

Okay, download this new file and extract all the files in a new folder. Follow the steps below:

    New File Link: https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B67As4gsEH4XODdZSnhMMGtaUEU

    Step 1: Start Odin
    Step 2:
    a. Select PIT file as 's1_odin_20100513.pit'
    b. Select PDA file as 'PDA_DXJV9_Deodexed_Zipaligned.tar'
    c. Select PHONE file as 'PHONE_DXJV9.tar'
    d. Select CSC file as 'CSC_OLBJV9.tar'
Step 3: Under Options: Check Re-partition, Check Auto Reboot and Check F. Reset Time
Step 4: Start the phone in the download mode
Step 5: Once ID:COM/phone is 'Added!!' click Start
Step 6: You will see a lot of red text after the flash is done, don't panic, just do a 'wipe data/factory reset' and reboot the device when done.
Step 7: Let the device boot all the way then turn it off.
Step 8: Re-enter Download Mode and re-flash only the CSC file [Step 2 d] without pit and without re-partition.

    It should work now...ENJOY :)...

I've carefully followed all steps above connected my device to Odin v1.3 and downloaded the file to be installed, but i can't seem to get Odin to do anything, it seems to be staying on "SetupConnection" and not doing anything afterwards. Any idea why this might be? Thanks

Still the same thing as before unfortunately, stalling at SetupConnection and the screen is still on Download Mode with no flickering or any signs of something happening! I tried flashing different roms, they all say that they have flashed perfectly but i still can't seem to get out of this boot loop!

    1. Reboot into Recovery: There are 2 ways to boot into recover, you can use the 3 button combo [Volume Up + Home + Power] or you can open ROM Manager and select the 2nd Option "Reboot into Recovery".

    2. wipe cache partition: This would be the 4th option. Scroll to this option using your volume up/down button and select using the Home button. It will take you to a new screen, select "Yes - Wipe Cache"

    3. wipe Dalvik Cache: Scroll to "advanced", this would be the last option and select it. It will take you to a new screen, select "Wipe Dalvik Cache". This will take you to another screen, select "Yes - Wipe Delvik Cache". Then select the last option "+++++Go Back+++++" which will take you to the home screen.

    4. Select "reboot system now" which should be the 1st option.

Let me know if this is solving your problem.

    Thanks,
