What is a Smart Dual SIM Function?

Samsung introduced this feature known as "Smart Dual SIM function" which basically allows you to take calls from one of the SIM cards while the other is active as well.

Smart dual SIM function is basically call forwarding function which means when you are talking on one SIM and if someone tries to call you on the other number, you get the call and you can put the current call on hold and receive the other call or ignore the other call and continue with the current call. This utility is available in most Samsung dual SIM phones today but not on other dual SIM phones, so when someone tries to call on the second number, he hears that the number is switched off, or sometimes he gets nothing to hear, just very low level buzzing sound.

What is the tweak to enable it on your phone?

You could try if call forwarding settings works for your phone:

Step 1: Goto Settings -> Call Settings -> Call Forwarding -> Select SIM1 -> Forward When Unreachable -> Enter SIM2 phone number

Step 2: Goto Settings -> Call Settings -> Call Forwarding -> Select SIM2 -> Forward When Unreachable -> Enter SIM1 phone number

Step 3: Goto Settings -> Call Settings -> Additional or Other Settings -> Select SIM1 -> Enable Call Waiting

Step 4: Goto Settings -> Call Settings -> Additional or Other Settings -> Select SIM2 -> Enable Call Waiting

      * Note: In some Android versions, open your dialer -> settings -> voice call -> call forwarding

      Hope this helps. Thanks
